Job Description
Background of the Position
This position will support the Project Manager of SUWC, Sector Leader-Water and the Country Director in relationship management of key donors including the design (setting up meetings, reporting, concept idea development support) as well as the PME support to the SUWC project.
Objective of the Position
- Assist the SUWC project team in effectively tracking and monitoring project activities.
- Provide support to the Country Director in desktop review and analysis of information related to SNV's business development portfolio in Bangladesh.
- Identify potential partners and projects that align with SNV's approach.
- Support on any other BD as per request of CD for the relationship building and concept idea development & assist in reporting, as part of the business development.
Scope of Work
SUWC Project Support:
- Follow up on the monitoring and tracking system for the SUWC project, ensuring that data collection, analysis and reporting meet SNV standards.
- Prepare regular progress reports for the SUWC project team.
- Assist to organize and document stakeholder meetings related to the SUWC project.
Business Development Support:
- Work collaboratively with the PM, SL and Country Director to review and analyse information on SNV's business development portfolio in Bangladesh.
- Conduct research to identify potential partners and projects in Bangladesh that align with SNV's strategic priorities and areas of expertise.
- Develop further & monitor a database of potential donors interested in supporting initiatives that fall within SNV's focus areas.
- Prepares concept ideas, assist in sections of proposals and assists in reports to summarize research findings and recommendations for business development activities.
Deliverables:
- Monitoring and tracking system for the Log Frame SUWC project.
- Regular progress reports on PMEL in close coordination with the PM for the SUWC.
- Minutes and reports from stakeholder meetings (SUWC project).
- Deepen existing database and extend potential partners and potential HR in Bangladesh.
- Deepen existing database of potential donors in Bangladesh, participate in monthly BD meeting and provide monitoring of the database on a two-weekly basis.
- Support with concept idea development as per request and document research findings to feed into new BD design as including recommendations, as well as document donor meetings minutes for business development activities.
- Support with other BD requirements as per SNV Bangladesh needs, upon request of CD.

Qualifications
Qualifications and basic requirements
- Bachelor’s degree Business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience supporting business development or project management.
- Strong understanding of monitoring and evaluation principles.
- Proven track record in managing database and extend potential partners and potential HR in Bangladesh
- Excellent research, data analysis, and reporting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis software.
Additional Information
Duty Station : Dhaka with frequent visits to Project sites
Contract Duration : 6 months with a possibility of extension depending on performance and availability of funds.
Working Hours : Full time (minimum of 40 hours per week)
Salary : The total salary package (basic salary + House Rent Allowance + Transportation Allowance + Medical Allowance + Festival Allowance + Communication Allowance) will range between BDT 97,000/= and BDT 1,14,000/= per month, depending on the selected candidate’s work experience and competencies. Gratuity and provident fund entitlement will be followed by SNV BD policy.
