Project Background
The project is focused on equitably increasing access and use of resilient rural sanitation and water services. This will be achieved through: i) implementing targeted demand creation initiatives, ii) strengthening the supply chain for products and services, iii) introducing product and service innovations, iv) close collaboration with government partners to build capacity and facilitate successful service delivery for sustainable sanitation and water security.
Job Description
The Project Administration Assistant will work under the direction of the Project Administrator to ensure full administrative compliance, data accessibility, and accurate insight at any time for relevant projects
The Project Administration Assistant is required to undertake the following:
- Support to CRWASH project finance and administration.
- Reporting and monitoring, organization of relevant documentation for donors
- Provide general project support and logistics assistance as needed.
- Responsible for administrative work such as filling systems, phone, and email correspondence, photocopying, reviewing/developing administration-related forms, developing supplier contact lists,
- Arrange appointments and venues for training/meetings/workshops as required.
- Responsible for arranging (air tickets, taxi, and hotels) as needed.
- Assist in cash management including paying advances and allowances to the program staff and partners.
- Assist in liaising with related departments for internal and external auditing.
- Assist the Financial Officer in controlling the expenditures in accordance with budget.
- Assist in reviewing advance and settlement of project staff to ensure that the is claim within the timeline.
- Assist in entering the data into the accounting system.
- Carry out any other reasonable, related tasks as assigned by the Project Administrator
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
- Minimum Diploma degree in accounting or a related discipline
- Analytical thinking abilities
- Proven accounting and numeric skills
- Organised and able to meet deadlines.
- Good command of MS Word and Excel software
- Experience with SAP by design is preferable.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
