About the role

Join us in this exciting role as a Junior Full Stack Engineer in our Ho Chi Minh City office in District 10 to help us build the future of the Swiss real estate market by contributing to our cutting edge, cloud based, technology stack. You will get to collaborate and access the wealth of knowledge and experience from a community of amazing engineers who come from all parts of the globe and are ready to share their expertise and aid you in your path to fulfilling your potential.

Our tech stack

• Frontend: Vue.js / React with TypeScript
• Backend: Node.js and TypeScript, following a serverless microservices architecture in an    AWS cloud environment (Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, S3, etc.)
• Monitoring: Datadog, Sentry
• Documentation: Backstage

What you will do

As a Junior Fullstack Engineer, you'll be part of an exciting journey to build features that shape the future of the Swiss real estate market. Here’s what the role involves:

• Building and experimenting: Writing clean, modular code within a modern, serverless architecture, with a focus on refining and improving functionality.
• Collaborating and creating: Working closely with a talented team of engineers to design, develop, and deliver features that make a real impact on users.
• Learning and applying: Gaining hands-on experience with AWS, CI/CD, and other cutting-edge tools, continuously enhancing skills along the way.
• Contributing to innovation: Bringing fresh ideas to improve both software and processes, always looking for opportunities to push boundaries.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about technology and eager to grow. Here are the qualities that will help you thrive in this role:

• Solid foundation: A background in computer science or relevant experience, combined with curiosity and a drive for continuous learning. This could mean practical experience gained through internships, personal projects, or previous roles where you've actively contributed to building or maintaining web applications for 1-3 years. 
• Excellent English communication skills: Essential for seamless collaboration with international teams and articulating ideas clearly.
• Passion for technology: A strong desire to explore AWS and serverless architecture, always keen to dive into new technologies and solutions.
• Adaptability and growth mindset: Embraces feedback and is always looking for opportunities for both personal and professional improvement.
• Hands-on experience with any of the following will be a plus:
  • Experience with frontend frameworks like Vue.js or React.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Docker, Kafka, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
