Job Description

To do what?

The Audit Manager will play an instrumental role within Sleek CPA, providing high quality and efficient audit work in compliance with law and regulation as a World Class Professional Services provider. The Audit Manager will report to the Head of Audit in Hong Kong.

More specifically?

  • Working with the audit team to provide professional services to clients
  • Manage a client portfolio of SMEs and Startups
  • Coach and develop team members
  • Monitor job schedules
  • Review working papers, audited financial statements, tax computations, tax returns to maintain quality work
  • Assist our team in special requests such as tax matters, liquidation, and special operations led by clients
  • Oversee engagement progress to ensure pre-agreed deadlines and milestones are achieved timely
  • Maintain good and efficient communication with teams and clients

Qualifications

Who are you?

  • Degree holder in Accounting or equivalent
  • Accounting professional qualification such as HKICPA member or equivalent. HKICPA Practising Certificate holder is a plus.
  • A minimum of 4 years working experience in a public accounting firm, audit firm, or equivalent, including 2 years as supervisor is required
  • Candidates without review audit engagement experience would not be considered.
  • Familiar with HKAS, HKFRS, HKFRS-PE, SME-FRS and IRO
  • Self-starter and a passion for technology and innovation
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills
  • Great analytical, communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients
  • Proficiency in English and Cantonese Strong communication and project management skills
