Job Description

Your role:

You are part of the Hoboken team in which you collaborate with peers and analysts. Collectively, the team is responsible for managing accounts, project and building new client relationships. Within this team, you take a leading role in the more commercial side of account, project and building new business. Besides collaboration with the Hoboken team, you will work together with regional Commercial experts and managers from other locations with a similar commercial focus as you have.

In the role, you will focus on

1. Building client relationships and expanding our footprint and consultative interactions at accounts (~35% of time)

2. Advising, guiding, mentoring and collaborating with project and account teams – this includes identifying and articulating business questions, leading proposal writing, reviewing questionnaires and reviewing/advising on insights and consultation with the client (~40% of time)

3. Lead conversion – note this is not lead identification, it is taking leads forward in the sales cycle and converting to clients (~25% of time)

Responsibilities:

·       Develop new clients based on leads provided and relationships built

·       Build and manage existing client relationships (account management) to ensure repeat sales and referrals

·       Meet quarterly and annual sales goals

·       Work collaboratively with the Hoboken team, peers in other locations and commercial experts

·       Define client research objectives, outline potential study approaches, and develop client proposals in       collaboration with project team and account team

·       Ensure that projects meet the client’s expectations

·       Deliver exceptional client service

·       Present (and exhibit) at conferences

·       Travel, as necessary, to meet the above requirements

Qualifications

·       5+ years of increasing knowledge and experience in market research, with a quantitative focus

·       Strong client management and relationship building skills

·       Collaborative team experience, preferably with leadership and mentoring skills

·       Be agile and flexible, and willing to roll up the sleeves to assist with project and client deliveries when it is necessary to ensure the best client services

·       Experience in consultative selling is a plus

·       Demonstrated experience in quantitative market research; knowledge of conjoint methodology a plus

·       Strong client service skills

·       Self-motivated and high energy with the desire and skill to lead and be part of teams

·       Proven ability to navigate complex organizations to find decision makers, champions, and key stake holders while creating strong relationships at every level

·       Excellent verbal and written English communication skills including in-person presenting

·       Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are essential

·       Bachelor’s degree minimum, Masters a plus
