Company Description

We are an international special-purpose machinery company developing automated manufacturing equipment for the automotive industry. At our new location in the Prague area, we are establishing a dedicated CNC manufacturing operation.

The operation will support our European projects during machine testing, installation and commissioning, particularly when individual parts or small batches need to be modified or manufactured at short notice.

We are looking for someone with extensive hands-on CNC experience who can independently take a manufacturing job from technical drawing to inspected finished part and wants to play an active role in building our new manufacturing operation.

Job Description

Your Responsibilities

  • Help establish and organize our new CNC manufacturing area
  • Independently manufacture one-off parts, small batches and modification parts
  • Plan manufacturing processes based on technical drawings and documentation
  • Select machining strategies, tools, workholding solutions and cutting parameters
  • Program, set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines
  • Create and optimize CNC/CAM programs
  • Inspect finished parts using appropriate measuring equipment
  • Plan and prioritize manufacturing jobs according to ongoing project requirements
  • Work closely with Engineering, Assembly and Commissioning as well as our Czech and Chinese teams
  • Help establish and continuously improve manufacturing processes

Qualifications

Your Profile

  • Vocational or technical qualification in machining, CNC manufacturing, toolmaking, mechanical engineering or a comparable field
  • Several years of hands-on experience in CNC milling and turning
  • Experience in one-off, small-batch, prototype or modification manufacturing
  • Strong CNC programming skills and experience with CAM systems
  • Confident interpretation of technical drawings and sound knowledge of tooling, workholding and measurement
  • Ability to independently analyze and solve manufacturing problems
  • Independent, structured and responsible working style
  • Enjoyment of hands-on manufacturing and openness to working in an international and intercultural environment
  • Good Czech and English skills; Chinese is an advantage, but not a requirement
