YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You develop, refine, and test models focusing on regression, classification, forecasting or optimization that directly impact business outcomes
• You proactively identify opportunities to improve existing solutions and drive your projects from problem definition through to implementation
• You perform efficient, hypothesis-driven EDAs that quickly surface insights relevant to the business problem, avoiding analysis paralysis
• You keep up with the latest ML research and techniques but aren't afraid to implement simple, robust solutions when they're the right fit for the problem
• You actively collaborate with colleagues across the data science team and broader organization, share knowledge, unblock others when needed, and work together towards delivering high-quality results rather than working in isolation

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• You have B.Tech/B.E/ Master’s Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline
• You have 1-3 years hands-on experience with modern ML techniques including time series forecasting, regression, optimization algorithms, or reinforcement learning
• You translate complex business challenges into well-defined analytical tasks and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• You're proficient in Python for data analysis, modelling, and production deployment, with experience using version control (Git) and cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
• You're comfortable working with large datasets, writing efficient SQL queries, and preparing data pipelines for model training and deployment
• You collaborate effectively across business, product, engineering, and data science teams with strong English communication skills
