The SIXT Finance Department is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support the Accounts Payable Supervisor in daily operations. This role ensures accurate invoice processing, maintains financial records, and upholds compliance with internal controls. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with internal teams and vendors.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT  

• You manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail 

• You research, track, and resolve accounting discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy and compliance 

• You process and review 2,000–3,000 invoices weekly, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures 

• You collaborate effectively with vendors, team members, and the German Accounting Department 

• You maintain accounting records through scanning and filing while assisting the Accounting Manager with financial tasks 

• You ensure data security and uphold financial integrity while coordinating accounting procedures internationally 

YOUR SKILLS MATTER 

• Education You have an Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required

• Experience You have at least one year of Accounting or similar work experience

• Technical Proficiency You are proficient in Microsoft computer applications, particularly Word and Excel, manage financial data accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations 

• Soft Skills You demonstrate strong organizational skills, detailed orientated and have the capacity of handling multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy
