Work location and mode   

This role is based in Bangalore. The work mode is hybrid. Relocation is supported for candidates outside of Bangalore.

• Excellent verbal and written communication – very clear and concise 
• Very collaborative mindset, always seeking collaboration with Product Managers, UX Writers, UX Researchers, and other designers 
• User research experience and ability to conduct low-level research independently 
• Ambiguity seen as a trigger to create clarity with a systematic approach to design 
• Preference for action in a planned manner 
• Ability to plan and execute design projects for major product increments with focus on customer and business impact independently 
• Mastering design craft in at least two of these areas: Discovery, Ideation, Information Architecture, Design System, Design Strategy, System Design, Service Design 
• Willingness to learn and mentor and grow other designers 
• This role is an expert role and past leadership experience will help to succeed in this role.

About the department:
The goal of SIXT's design team is to design experiences that customers love. Our team includes UX Research, UX Writing and UX Design. UX Researchers generate insights into customer needs and help to evaluate new product ideas. UX Writers work closely with Designers to ensure inspiring, concise and consistent copywriting. The biggest group are our UX Designers, working in teams together with Product Management and Engineering to craft seamless and engaging mobility solutions for our customers. These teams create consumer-facing experiences, partner solutions, or tools for our colleagues that enable them to serve our customers better. No matter the team, we always look for creative designers (m/f/d) with a lot of empathy for our customers to join us in India (Bangalore) or Germany.
