Job Description

In the growing area of Content Technology, you help build the software products which bring our products to life. You will help us in building a Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) stack that is futureproof, highly scalable and supports our multi-brand, multi-channel and multi-market-segment business. Next to the work on the stack itself, you will help our internal customers implement the systems we build.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of quality code by common quality measures and architectural principles
  • Support the Product Owner and Product Manager in the technical and architectural decomposition of user requirements and features
  • Help ensure the service level, availability and functionality of our code towards the business stakeholders
  • Support PO and PM in troubleshooting with end-users of our stack

Qualifications

  • Background in Software Engineering or Computer Science
  • 5 years of experience as a developer
  • Experience in agile software development
  • Hard skills in PHP or Python and ideally Javascript
  • Hard skills in SQL, REST, Docker, K8s
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, preferrably Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with event-driven architecture
  • Fluency in English is required

 

These qualifications will help you:

  • A minor in Computational Linguistics
  • Experience with components from the typical ecommerce stack, such as PIM, a shop frontend, an ERP system, a headless DAM or CMS
  • Experience in an e-commerce environment
  • Experience in orchestration, scaling and continuous deployment
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Passion for Sports and Tech is very welcomed!

Additional Information

Objectives for the first 6months

  • Become Certified for Riversand PIM and MDM
  • Assist in Data Migration from ERP2 to Riversand PIM at Internetstores
  • Assist in realizing the downstream data flow of Riversand with ERP2
  • Create a catalog database to store preliminary product records on a large scale
  • Assist in creating an operational data storage for prices, availabilities and catalog changes as a link between Riversand and Salesforce Commerce Cloud
