Wage Information:

$23 to $32 a hour

 

Job Description

General Purpose:

Assist credit and collection team with customer accounts reconciliations and admin duties.  This person will maintain positive working relationships with both our external and internal customers. Works on a daily basis with guidance from the supervisor.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with credit and collection team as well as accounting team to reconcile customer accounts
  • Support administrative duties such as submitting invoices to portals, sending out customer statements
  • Work with Tax Department to reconcile sales tax discrepancies (i.e. short pays)
  • Assisting monitoring AR electronic mailbox
  • Researches and analyzes credit information and compiles supporting data for recommendations to management.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good judgment in making corrective account adjustments.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Attention to detail, accuracy and speed.
  • Positive attitude, customer oriented, strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
  • Ability to work independently on projects.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and solicit input.
  • Interested in developing knowledge of credit/collection systems.
  • Intermediate level experience with Excel and Word.

Education/Experience and/or Training:

  • Associate degree with an accounting concentration or Vocational School degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in accounting and/or one (1) year of credit/collection experience
