Wage Information:

$23 to 27 and hour

Job Description

This position is responsible for managing inventory, receiving, and fulfilling orders in an efficient manner. Also, responsible for the oversight of the life cycle of products, including preparation, shipping, and receiving. Provide support with the maintenance of logistics policies, administer, and maintain inventory systems and coordinate with in-house sales team to promote accurate and timely processing of orders for customers. As the customers first point of contact you will provide outstanding service to internal and external customers. In addition, you will work closely with our entire supply chain to ensure that orders are processed on paper correctly and staged ready to go.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Coordinate with in-house sales team to promote accurate and timely processing of orders for customers.
  • Help with maintaining logistics planning tasks.
  • Enter orders into computer and track shipments across multiple channels.
  • Answer phone calls, process returns.
  • Keep proper records of all forms of transactions relating to the company’s logistics operations.
  • Negotiate transport or logistics rates with suppliers and customers to improve the supply chain.
  • Analyze areas of corporate logistics to find out the most cost-effective means or method of transporting supplies.
  • Communicate transport or logistics cost to customers or suppliers 
  • Oversee the life cycle of products, including preparation, shipping, and receiving.
  • May need to pick up or deliver products as required.

Qualifications

  • HS Degree or equivalent required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • 3+ years previous experience in logistics management or coordination
  • Working knowledge of PC computer systems
  • Developed interpersonal skills
  • Defined time management skills
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. minimum
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have valid drivers license
  • Must be able to cross US border on occassion.
