SUMMARY

Assembles metal products, such as vales or hydraulic cylinders partially or completely as well as pumps or completed units.  Works at a bench on shop floor and performs the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled.
• Must be able to read and follow blueprints
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets or other fasteners
• Tests completed units and monitors performance
• Lift up to 25 pounds
• Must understand and follow QMS and how it relates to the position
• Other duties may be assigned

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

• High school graduate or equivalent training.
• Minimum of two (2) years machine operations experience and/or enrollment and completion of apprentice program.
• Ability to calculate figures, amounts and mathematical drawings and prints.
