The buyer will be responsible for office and facilities procurement, as well as responding to manufacturing demand requests and place purchase orders for needed materials to meet manufacturing requirements. Participate in the discovery of new sources, negotiating pricing, supply stream establishment and part/print compliance to engineering requirements. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of three years of experience in purchasing in a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of purchasing and supply chain concepts
• APICS, CPIM, NAPM certification is a plus

COMPUTER SKILLS

Experience with Microsoft Excel a must, other MS Office experience a plus. ERP/MRP system experience required.
