Marketing Manager

              Reports to President, Shape Waterblast Group (SWG)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Develop, execute, and drive marketing campaigns as well as day-to-day activities that contribute to SWG’s lead generation, brand awareness, sales enablement, and product marketing. Manage the North American tradeshow lifecycle, from planning to implementation to analysis of tradeshow ROI. Coordinate with Shape global marketing team to ensure integration into the global marketing plan and utilization of all available tools and resources. Develop and manage annual marketing plan and associated budget. 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   

·       Collaborate with product management, sales, and aftermarket teams to plan and execute marketing programs including webinars, email campaigns, digital advertising, social media, tradeshows, and more

·       Organize and execute in-person and digital events (tradeshows, webinars, etc.)

·       Adjust tactics/communications based on campaign performance to ensure business objectives are being met

·       Content development ideation and coordination with internal team and external agency

·       Measure, evaluate, and provide lead and business analysis related to marketing campaigns

·       Manage exhibit/content design/execution/budget reconciliation of annual tradeshows

·       Manage website CMS and ensure the website marketing messages are updated

·       Participate in new product development process to develop market positioning opportunity and launch plan

·       Regularly survey market and interview customers to maintain VOC

·       Manage paid advertising opportunities with trade publications

·       Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness

·       Assist in content creation for marketing campaigns

·       Brainstorms new and creative lead, awareness, and growth strategies

·       Demonstrate a strong commitment to ongoing sales alignment to ensure program success

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

·       Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding

·       Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities

·       Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills

·       Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity

·       Above average organizational skills

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

·       A degree in Marketing, Business or Communications or a combination of education and experience acceptable.

·       A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant marketing position.

o   Experience with various communications media, including print, video, multimedia, and the web

o   Experience with Microsoft Office – Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word

o   Experience with CRM tools

o   Experience with email marketing platforms
