Job Description

General Purpose:

The Intercompany Customer Service Representative will perform duties such as sales order entry, inter-company RMA’s – processing and entry, and inter-company order coordination. Will work closely with purchasing, intercompany departments and companies. 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process, expedite and input inter-company customer sales orders; ensure completed delivery of the order.

  • Provide quotes to intercompany customers.

  • Provides timely response to inquiries regarding parts lead time, availability and date orders will ship.

  • Handle inquires and troubleshoot intercompany customer issues.

  • Adhere to company RMA process and maintain RMA files.

  • Other duties as assigned to support team and company.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent phone communication skills, creating a friendly and persuasive atmosphere that results in positive results.

  • Computer literate, MS Office applications.  Accurate data entry a must.

  • Intermediate level of analytical ability where problems are complex.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Highly organized self-starter, goal oriented with the ability to work independently.

  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, solicit input from intercompany customers, and obtain cooperation from associates in other departments.

  • Innovative/creative thinking.

  • Focused – performs work with a sense of urgency.

Education and/or Training:

  • High school graduate or equivalent training.

  • Minimum of one year (1) entering customer orders in a customer service position. 

  • Intermediate level – MS Office applications

  • Data entry and general administrative experience required.
