Job Description

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Under the supervision of the Global Marketing Communications Director, responsible for generating or rejuvenating leads via phone and other outbound activities. Support our Sales staff through initial qualification of prospects and leads, and nurturing assigned leads to move them through the sales funnel until they are qualified enough to share with our sales team. Processing inbound leads and responsible for the administration of CRM. Supporting agents, gathering sales and marketing data, and assisting with the hosting of visitors.  Support general marketing activities, including social media and tradeshows.  A direct liaison to the North American sales team, responsible for lead management duties.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Global support to Flow marketing teams.

  • Use tools like Hoover, LinkedIn, Flow’s CRM, and other sources to create target lists for calling or marketing purposes.

  • Insure all leads from all sources are tracked in CRM.

  • Maintain a solid and professional working relationship with all associates and partners.

  • Support indirect partners as required.

  • Send appropriate information to Field Sales personnel.

  • Become functionally proficient in waterjet technology through training.

  • Host visitors, including but not limited to welcome items, transportation (if necessary), company tours, agenda creation, scheduling meetings with internal presenters.

  • Support tradeshows: handling leads or attending (setup, lead generation, tear down, etc.).

  • Key contributor to social media. Drafting posts, creating content calendars, and raising engagement. Responsible for tracking results and improving KPIs.

  • Help generate content for regional newsletters and send email campaigns through third party email client.

  • Organization of translation materials.

  • Complete website updates in Flow’s content management system (Kentico) and help coordinate global updates.

  • Manage literature inventory.

  • Contact and qualify prospects via telephone and track results in CRM

  • Make cold calls (contacts not in our database) or warm calls (in our database) to provide information about products and services. Qualify and nurture leads according to established guidelines.

  • Average of 30 outbound calls per day or other volume as assigned.

  • Other duties as assigned.

     

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent phone communication skills, creating a friendly and persuasive atmosphere that results in maximizing lead generation or revitalization

  • Ability to make successive phone calls for 4 hours (with breaks)

  • Knowledge of or ability to learn waterjet applications and various presentation scripts.

  • Have experience or knowledge in sales (understanding sales funnels, sales processes, cold vs warm leads).

  • Computer literate, MSOffice applications. Familiarity w/Customer Relationship Management software preferred. CMS system knowledge preferred.

  • Knowledge of or previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Excellent customer service and relationship building skills.

  • Calm under pressure with the ability to adapt to change.

  • Highly organized self-starter; goal oriented.

  • Able to travel on business

  • Support general marketing activities as assigned

  • Interface:  Extensive interaction with associates at all Flow locations, at all levels, customers, vendors and consultants.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/AND OR TRAINING:

Associates degree or equivalent experience and training that provides required knowledge, skills and abilities.
