Responsibilities

• Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business reports

• Work with management team to create a prioritized list of needs for corporate and each business segment / company

• Identify and recommend new ways to save money by streamlining business processes
• Use data to create models that depict trends and opportunities to provide insight

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or related field with demonstrated aptitude in data analytics
• 2+ years’ Data mining experience
• 4+ years in a data analyst role
• Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail, strong analytic skills and must be a self-starter
• Strong written, presentation and communication skills
• Must be passionate, self-starter and curious about data and data analytics
• Must have a fundamental understand of finance and manufacturing
• Firm understanding of data warehousing and analytics tools like Tableau
• Ability to script and create SQL queries
• Ability to create and generate reports, create KPI’s that measure performance

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collecting and interpreting data
• Analyzing data that support requirements gathered and documented
• Reporting the results back to the relevant members of the business
• Identifying patterns and trends in data sets
• Working alongside teams within the business or the management teams to establish business needs and business improvement opportunities
• Interface with the BI team to extract, transform and load data into the warehouse
• Analyze and solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader implications
