Job Description

Who You Are.
As our Mechanical Technician II, you will be responsible to perform various tasks necessary to produce, assemble and test ultra-high pressure component parts and assemblies.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assemble basic to complex sub-assembly components using assembly drawings.
• Assemble and test complex ultra-high pressure electro-mechanical production units using assembly drawings and manufacturing instructions.
• Inform lead of process improvements to drawings or assembly which effect form, fit and function.
• Assist ME/Engineering on resolving production failures or improvements.
• Determine the most suitable tools and equipment necessary to perform the assigned work.
• Mentor other Mechanical Technicians.
• Perform assigned tasks meeting or exceeding time standards.
• Ensure quality and reliability through workmanship.
• Maintain company equipment, tools and shop area to department specifications and maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

You have:
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings/blue prints.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
• Ability to teach and mentor others.
• Self-motivated and able to recognize when guidance or direction is needed.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Analytical and mechanical ability.
• Good hand-eye coordination.

Education and/or Training:
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience with manufacturing assembly techniques involving mechanical and/or electrical assemblies or have gained experience and knowledge within the company for advancement.
