The Client Services Specialist is responsible for managing customer relationships, quotations, contracts, project coordination and service delivery communications. The role acts as the primary interface between clients and laboratory operations, ensuring that customer requirements are clearly understood, translated into laboratory activities and delivered in accordance with agreed timelines, quality standards and regulatory requirements. The position plays a key role in client retention, customer satisfaction, revenue growth and the development of new business opportunities.

Role Overview
- Job Title: Client Services Specialist
- Job Type: Permanent
- Location: Ringaskiddy, Cork
- Hours: 39 hours p/w
- Salary: 55,000 - 72,000 p/a DOE
Overview of Role:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
- Manage customer queries, service issues, and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and contracts in line with customer requirements and business objectives.
- Coordinate the onboarding of new clients, projects, and products into laboratory operations.
- Act as the link between customers and laboratory teams, providing regular updates on project progress and testing activities.
- Monitor project timelines, turnaround times, and ensure customer expectations are effectively managed.
- Lead client business reviews, governance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support customer audits, technical discussions, and site visits.
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure customer commitments and service levels are achieved.
- Forecast customer demand and support capacity planning activities.
- Identify opportunities for account growth through cross-selling, upselling, and new service offerings.
- Maintain accurate customer, quotation, contract, and pipeline information within Salesforce.
- Support business development activities, customer engagement events, and revenue growth objectives.
- Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, health & safety, and SGS standards and values.
Qualifications
You will also have the following:
- Science graduate degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy or equivalent education
- Minimum of 3-5 years in analytical testing, quality assurance, laboratory operations or client facing pharmaceutical services
- Experience managing customer relationships in a regulated industry.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical development, release testing, stability testing or microbiology services.
- Experience preparing quotations, proposals or contracts desirable
