Job Description
- Operate and demonstrate a thorough understanding of laboratory testing equipment and machinery used in the Hardline Laboratory.
- Perform daily inspections, preventive maintenance, and routine follow-up activities to ensure all equipment remains in good working condition.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues when possible, and coordinate with external suppliers or service providers for technical support and corrective actions when required.
- Communicate with equipment suppliers regarding technical matters, maintenance services, spare parts, and the procurement of new laboratory equipment.
- Manage and monitor the calibration schedule of laboratory equipment, coordinate calibration activities, and evaluate calibration results to ensure compliance with quality and accreditation requirements.
- Support laboratory operations by ensuring equipment availability, reliability, and compliance with applicable standards and procedures.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate with suppliers in English via email.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
