Manage and lead all the process technology related activities by developing and implementing highest levels of technical excellence within process technology, across the engineering, production, maintenance, and technology centre as well as provide technical leadership contribution and excellence to ensure safety, integrity reliability.

Job Description

  • Lead process technology and engineering activities across operations, maintenance, and capital projects. 
  • Provide technical leadership in process engineering, plant optimization, and troubleshooting. 
  • Support plant expansions, modifications, commissioning, and start-up activities. 
  • Review and approve process engineering designs, calculations, and technical deliverables. 
  • Identify and resolve complex process-related operational challenges. 
  • Lead process safety studies including HAZOP, SIL assessments, and technical risk reviews. 
  • Drive Advanced Process Control (APC) initiatives to improve plant stability, performance, and efficiency. 
  • Monitor process performance and recommend improvements to increase reliability and production efficiency. 
  • Support engineering studies, feasibility evaluations, and technology assessments. 
  • Act as the subject matter expert for process technology and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams. 
  • Participate in failure investigations and root-cause analyses for process-related incidents. 
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, engineering practices, and HSE requirements. 
  • Manage interfaces with contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders. 
  • Promote innovation, digitalization, and the adoption of emerging technologies. 
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline. 
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas, Chemical, Energy, or related industries. 
  • Minimum 5 years of technical engineering experience in a processing or industrial environment. 
  • Strong experience in process engineering, plant operations support, process safety, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting major industrial projects, commissioning, and plant modifications. 
  • Knowledge of Advanced Process Control (APC), HAZOP, SIL studies, and process optimization methodologies is highly desirable.
