  • Job Type: 12 months temporary contract (This role is for undergraduate students, looking for a one year industry placement) 
  • Location: Glasgow, Clydebank 
  • Hours: 35 hours, Monday to Friday 
  • Salary: £19,747- £23,132 (salary dependent on minimum wage for age group)

Are you studying for an HNC, HND, or Degree in a scientific or engineering discipline and looking for hands-on industry experience? Join our Validation team and gain exposure to GMP laboratories, equipment qualification, validation, compliance, and quality systems within a world-leading life sciences environment.

What you'll do

  • Support equipment validation, calibration, and maintenance activities
  • Help manage laboratory records and compliance documentation
  • Assist with environmental monitoring and data trending
  • Work alongside experienced Validation and Quality professionals
  • Contribute to exciting laboratory expansion projects and new equipment installations

Qualifications

What we're looking for

  • Studying for an HNC, HND, or Degree in a scientific or engineering discipline
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication and IT skills
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • An interest in validation, quality, engineering, or laboratory operations

No previous industry experience required – just enthusiasm, curiosity, and a desire to develop in a highly regulated scientific environment.
