Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for promoting SGS services (testing, inspection and certification) to new Consumer Product clients for deal closure.
- Responsible for driving end-to-end sales execution, from identifying new business opportunities to negotiating and closing contracts, ensuring individual performance directly supports the national sales strategy and annual targets of SGS US Consumer Products.
- Responsible for partnering with internal support networks—including client services, technical, and operational teams—to execute targeted sales initiatives aligned with SGS US Consumer Products' annual performance objectives.
Specifically These Responsibilities Are To:
- Develop sales plans with manager to ensure the achievement of annual targets.
- Develop and maintain business relationships with potential and/or target customers.
- Be highly proficient selling and presenting SGS services.
- Issue proposals and negotiate fees, terms and conditions as necessary.
- Manage sales cycle and move events and activities to close leads and opportunities.
- Follow all reporting and web/call leads to meet company mandated time frame.
- Consistently and accurately provide sales reports and other reports timely as required by management.
- Work closely with technical and lab teams to present value-added service solutions to prospective customers.
- Work closely with customer service team to ensure ease and transparency of client information and requirements for order process.
- Escalate and resolve client order issues in strict alignment with client requirements, keeping operation and lab teams fully informed.
- Attend industry and trade show events in support of leads generation and prospecting.
- Constantly and proactively seek latest industry trends with the ability to sell new SGS services.
- Other duties assigned as necessary in response to business needs.

- Ability to close sales in a timely manner, supported by sales training experience.
- Proven selling experience with high energy and motivation.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- University graduate or equivalent educational background.
- 3+ years of consumer products testing sales experience in a multinational organization.
- International business exposure and understanding of global supply chain for producing consumer Products.
- Strong written and spoken English skills, other languages are an advantage.
- Persuasive, diplomatic, but always to the point and a strong ability to sell a concept.
- Hands-on, open-minded, proactive team player.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office- Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook 365, LinkedIn.
Additional Information
Compensation
The expected salary for this position is $75,000 to $103,000 per year. This range represents the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Actual compensation within the range will depend on skills, experience, and qualifications.
