Job Summary: The HR Operations Generalist is responsible for the daily administration of HR functions, with a heavy emphasis on employee relations, disciplinary management, and regulatory reporting. You will ensure that the organization remains compliant with the Labor Code of the Philippines while fostering a productive work environment.

 

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Employee Relations & Due Process

§ Manage the full disciplinary process, ensuring strict adherence to the Two-Notice Rule (Notice to Explain and Notice of Decision) to uphold the constitutional right to due process.

§ Lead administrative investigations and hearings for behavioral or performance infractions.

§ Ensure all disciplinary penalties are commensurate with the offense as per jurisprudence.

§ Serve as the primary point of contact for employee grievances and conflict resolution.

2. Compliance & DOLE Reporting

§ Prepare and submit mandatory DOLE reports, including the Establishment Report on COVID-19 (if still applicable), Annual Medical Report, and reports on workplace accidents or displacements.

§ Ensure 100% compliance with General Labor Standards (GLS) and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards.

§ Represent the company during DOLE labor inspections and audits.

3. HR Operations

§ Create, maintain and update the Employee Handbook and company policies to reflect current labor law changes.

§ Manage employee offboarding and clearance processing.

§ Generate and analyze HR metrics, such as attrition rates and disciplinary trends.

§ Manage HR ticketing system and concerns.

§ Facilitate roadshows on Employee and Labor Relations topics

4. Other HR tasks which may be assigned

Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.

 

Required Experience:

Proven experience with at least 5 years of progressive HR generalist experience and advanced knowledge in labor law and compliance.

 

Skills & Abilities

§ Advanced understanding of the Labor Code of the Philippines and recent DOLE Department Orders.

§ Proven experience in handling labor-related cases and administrative investigations.

§ Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.

§ High level of integrity, strong communication skills (English and Filipino), and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
