Job Description

  • Lead and oversee technical projects related to Geochemistry, Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR), Digital Solutions, and Predictive Modelling, ensuring high-quality project execution and delivery.
  • Provide technical expertise and customer support throughout the project lifecycle, from proposal stage to project completion.
  • Act as the technical specialist for analytical services, including sampling, testing, data interpretation, reporting, troubleshooting, and client advisory services.
  • Lead field operations, support laboratory activities, and collaborate with other business lines to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop the technical capabilities of laboratory and field personnel through coaching, training, and competency development initiatives.
  • Ensure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of laboratory and field data, reports, and technical deliverables.
  • Manage laboratory and field equipment, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and recommendations for new equipment and resources.
  • Develop, review, and maintain technical procedures, SOPs, and training materials to support operational excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with SGS policies, quality standards, HSE requirements, regulatory obligations, and applicable management systems.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related field from a recognized university,
  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in well site analysis, laboratory services, preferably with some supervisory or management experience.
  •  Field experience in Oil, Gas Services especially in Reservoir/ Rocks Laboratory
