Job Description

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Assuring high quality of service delivery based on Service Level Agreements and agreed KPIs
  • First contact for issues escalation within R2R process
  • Supporting audit of financial statements, controls audit, external and internal audits, etc.
  • Lead Balance Sheet (BS) reviews, ensuring accuracy and completeness of reconciliations.
  • Support the Supervisor and Manager in reviewing and approving journal entries (JEs).
  • R2R process lead – supporting a team of process experts to drive cross-country standardization, identify improvement opportunities, and implement best practices across the Record to Report function.
  • Monitor and operate a robust R2R internal control environment (GL, IC, FA, Bank, Inventory, MEC)
  • Update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.
  • Any other tasks related to R2R and financial processes as assigned

Coordination:

  • Support the Supervisor in leading the team of specialists.
  • Coordinate completion of all Record-to-report processes (GL, IC, FA, Bank, Inventory, MEC)
  • Support the Supervisor in task delegation by providing input on workload distribution, monitoring progress, and ensuring tasks are aligned with team capabilities and priorities.
  • Provide support in R2R operations for more complex transactions.
  • Monitor task progress, lead MEC (Month-End Close) calls, and ensure smooth execution of assigned processes.
  • Contribute (as member of the team) in the overall management and development of the R2R Tower
  • Resolve or escalate any processes issues
  • Attend and lead team meetings
  • Prepare reports
  • Foster strong relationships with country teams during the transition process and ensure continued collaboration and engagement in the post-transition phase.

Qualifications

Profile:

  • Bachelors Degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance - required
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Finance Shared Services - required
  • General knowledge of accounting rules - required
  • Experience in financial systems (knowledge of Oracle E Business Suite is nice to have)
  • Familiarity with excel – intermediate level - required
