Job Description
Lead and drive commercial activities for the certification business in Egypt, with a strong focus on Sustainability (ESG, climate, responsible sourcing) and Digital Trust (cybersecurity, data privacy, information security) offerings. The role is accountable for achieving sales growth, and ensuring exceptional customer engagement aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Commercial Leadership & Performance
- Lead and manage all sales, sales support, and marketing functions to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
- Define, implement, and monitor KPIs and sales targets aligned with business strategy.
- Drive pipeline development, forecasting accuracy, and conversion performance.
2. Market Development & Growth
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities in certification:
- Sustainability schemes (ESG reporting, carbon footprint, ISO standards, circular economy)
- Digital trust (ISO 27001, cybersecurity, privacy certifications, digital assurance)
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to guide strategic decisions.
- Contribute to portfolio expansion by supporting development of new services and certification schemes.
3. Sales Execution & Customer Engagement
- Ensure high-quality handling of client inquiries, proposals, tenders, and contracts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Engage clients at all levels.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with technical, operational, and delivery teams to ensure:
- Feasibility and alignment of proposed services
- Smooth execution of projects
- Work closely with Business Manager and leadership on strategic initiatives and growth plans.
5. Service Innovation & Development
- Support management in designing and launching new certification schemes and services aligned with market needs.
- Monitor global trends in sustainability standards and digital assurance frameworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in:
- Certification bodies (ISO, auditing, compliance)
- Sustainability / ESG services
- Digital trust, cybersecurity, or IT assurance
