Job Description

General Description: The Reliability Test Engineer position is responsible for executing reliability testing, operating lab equipment and thermal chambers, documenting results, and reporting test progress and findings across product development.

- Starting compensation is based on experience.
- No H1 Sponsorship.
- Must Already be in Mountain View, CA or willing to relocate at own cost

Primary Responsibilities/Tasks:

  • Execute established reliability test procedures, including environmental, mechanical, and certification testing
  • Set up, operate, and maintain test equipment and thermal chambers for temperature and humidity testing
  • Document test setups and results with clear photographic evidence
  • Collect, analyze, and report results using spreadsheets, charts, and presentation slides
  • Track and communicate testing progress in a timely manner
  • Support multiple tests and products across the development lifecycle
  • Ensure safe operation of all test setups and proper use of trained lab equipment

Qualifications

Work Experience Requirements:

  • SolidWorks skills and Instron testing experience are a must
  • Work experience requirements include executing reliability testing procedures (environmental, mechanical, and certification), setting up, operating, and maintaining test equipment and thermal chambers, and documenting test setups and results with photographic evidence.
  • Candidates should have experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting data using spreadsheets, charts, and presentation materials, as well as tracking and communicating test progress.
  • Experience supporting multiple tests and products across development cycles is required, along with ensuring safe operation of lab setups and proper use of trained equipment.

Education Requirements: Bachelor of Science in related engineering major (EE, CE, etc.)

Additional Information

Compensation

The expected salary range for this position is $85,000 to $90,000 per year.  This range represents the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Actual compensation within the range will depend on skills, experience, and qualifications.
