Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to join our team in Shah Alam. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services to support daily operations.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle, including sourcing, quotation evaluation, negotiation, and purchase order issuance
- Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers based on pricing, quality, and delivery performance
- Negotiate pricing and terms to achieve cost savings and optimal value for the company
- Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to understand purchasing requirements and timelines
- Monitor order progress and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Resolve supply issues, including delays, quality concerns, and discrepancies
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- 3-4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in a team
- Familiar with ERP systems with strong skills in data analysis and reporting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong knowledge of procurement practices and relevant trade regulations
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Fluent in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage
