Job Description
- Responsible for process and design of all aspects of Process Engineering for Mineral and Chemical Process plants.
- Responsible for scoping through detailed engineering and execution of plans.
- Prepare and write technical reports as per National Instrument 43-101.
- Perform Process Modeling (Mineral and chemical plants) for client projects
- Process Engineering and Design, equipment sizing and selection, review of plant layout
- Review of other Engineering deliverables for a project and interpreting and discussing with relevant
- stakeholders
- Bias Test analysis and determination of Bias/non-Bias results
- Proposal Development which includes cost estimating, review of technical and commercial content
- Project Management of all aspects of projects from start to finish, making and decisions as appropriate
- Provides guidance and/or leadership to others, including indirect reports, peers, or managers No
Qualifications
- B.S. Mining or Process Engineering Required
- M.S./Mining or Process Engineering Required
- 8 + years of experience in Mining or Process Engineering Required
- Registered Professional Engineer
- Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101 (designation)
- Language Skills: English
- Mathematical Skills: Statistics, Process modeling,
- Advanced mathematics
- Reasoning Skills/Abilities: Excellent
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and
- interpersonal skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of process plant operations,
- process simulation tools
- Extensive knowledge of process design methods, process
- modeling
- Detail-oriented and has the ability to meet project
- deadlines
- Experience in working with base metals and precious
- metal mineral processing
- Perform engineering in all project phases of process design
- Financial and Feasibility studies/modeling
- Microsoft Office 365
- Extensive ability in programing Excel Spreadsheets
- METSIM
- Bruno
