Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across key infrastructure sectors, including Electrical Utilities, Water Utilities, and Building & Infrastructure.
In this role, you will play a key part in expanding our technical service capabilities across Australia, working closely with leadership teams to identify opportunities, build strong client relationships, and deliver innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive national growth across the Electrical Utilities, Water Utilities, and Building & Infrastructure sectors.
- Identify and develop new opportunities across service lines including Robotic Services, Inspections, Operational Technology Engineering, Condition Monitoring, and Geotechnical Services.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with business objectives and profitability targets.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying new prospects and converting opportunities into successful outcomes.
- Lead business development initiatives including industry events, conferences, and targeted client engagement.
- Prepare high-quality technical tenders, RFQs, and proposals, managing the sales process from initial engagement through to contract award.
- Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and pipeline management through Salesforce CRM.
- Collaborate with leadership teams to develop business cases for new service offerings and market expansion.
Qualifications
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Extensive experience within the Electrical Utilities or Water Utilities sector.
- Strong understanding of sales strategy and business development practices.
- Demonstrated experience preparing technical tenders and proposals.
- Strong knowledge of industry trends, key stakeholders, competitors, and regulatory environments.
- Full, unrestricted driver’s licence.
