PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Customer Master Data Specialist is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of customer data across business systems. This role ensures that customer records are properly created, updated, and governed in compliance with company policies and data management standards. The specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to support business operations, reporting, and decision-making.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities
Data Management
Create, update, and maintain customer master data in ERP/CRM systems.
Ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards.
Perform regular data audits to identify and resolve inconsistencies.
Quality Assurance
Validate customer information for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
Monitor data quality metrics and implement corrective actions.
Support initiatives to improve data processes and automation.
- Inputting master data attributes into system as needed
- Management of data requests in support of business processes in a closed-loop process
- Extract data, analyze and ensuring the quality of the data.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent quality of data
- Comply, at all times, with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Good analytical skills
- Good MS Excel skills
- Competent computer skills including MS Office is an asset
- English with minimal good reading and speaking skills (B1/B2)
- Oracle E-Business Suite R12 knowledge would be useful, but it is not essential (further training would be provided if necessary)
