Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Authorised Officer to join our team in Hendon, SA. This casual role is responsible for conducting inspections, testing, and reporting for agricultural commodity exports and domestic trade, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

A minimum qualification in PGG3001 – Export inspection of prescribed grain and plant products is essential to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities include however, are not limited to:

  • Complete inspections and testing of agricultural commodities for export and domestic markets

  • Conduct export inspections in line with Trade Assurance Services and overseas government requirements

  • Prepare accurate reports and deliver within customer timeframes

  • Communicate with customers to initiate and manage inspection requirements

  • Maintain accreditations and undertake ongoing professional development

  • Ensure compliance with ISO 17020 and GAFTA/FOSFA sampling standards

  • Carry out inspections for additional commodities based on training and experience

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience or knowledge within agricultural services and/or export markets (preferred)

  • minimum qualification in PGG3001 - Export inspection of prescribed grain and plant products

  • Current Australian driver’s license

  • Strong computer skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • General site safety awareness and training
