Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Country Procurement Specialist to manage the procurement of services and indirect materials. This role includes sourcing, contracting, supplier performance management, and ensuring governance across assigned categories. You will also lead the Services and Indirect Materials team, delivering team KPIs, and work in a specialty area such as Compliance, Systems, Processes & Analytics (CSP&A).
Strategy:
- Drive the development and execution of category strategies for Indirect & Equipment spend.
- Support procurement-wide team strategy initiatives.
Sourcing & Operations:
- Manage day-to-day procurement activities for assigned categories.
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including supplier pre-qualification, market analysis, negotiations, evaluations, risk assessment, and contract finalization.
- Oversee Purchase Order processes and ensure timely delivery.
- Track and report on savings projects and financial performance.
Category Management:
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contracts, specifications, and the Supplier Code of Conduct.
- Maintain and communicate preferred supplier lists.
- Approve new vendors and lead structured business reviews with suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance, KPIs, and risk management.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a Procurement Business Partner to align procurement strategies with business needs.
- Communicate strategy updates and procurement performance to stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with Country, Market, and Regional stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Economics, Finance, or Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of procurement experience, including at least 1 year in strategic sourcing.
- CIPS, APICS, or CA certifications are a plus.
- Experience delivering competitive advantage through sourcing strategies.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and projects.
- Strong understanding of TCO, risk management, responsible sourcing, and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
- Fluent in English.
