Job Description

  • Identify, initiate and lead in enhancement process in align with Group and business direction
  • Drive for improvement and sustainability on laboratory process and methodology by continuously review and improve existing methodology and process flow
  • Regularly communicate with Global Technical Support team on method alignment, new methodology development, recall case and technical exchange
  • Handle escalated query and potential complaint professionally and work with business team to minimize the business impact
  • Review the effectiveness of the implemented and improved test methodology, process flow and take necessary action to rectify flow/ method when needed
  • Evaluate, assess and approve Approved Signatory and Validator as per established Quality Procedure
  • Evaluate and approve new or existing Technical document under Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Respond fast to business development need by research, study and develop new methodology which is fit for intended purpose
  • Lead method development process on resource management ,timeline management and document review
  • Collaborate with Quality team to plan and identify on area of improvement.
  • Lead technical analyst on providing technical training and assessment to ensure the analysts are technically competent.
  • Provide technical guidance /guideline / briefing for business team when needed
  • Work with Quality team to on verification of identified root cause and corrective action
  • Provide technical support to all MBL laboratories
  • Supervise to ensure Good Housekeeping and Good Laboratory practice in the laboratory.
  • Adherence to SGS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy by uphold a good safety behavior and exercising necessary standard and process when carry out your responsibilities at all times to ensure compliance to the HSE requirements.
  • Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your reporting manager and/or Senior Management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Science or related field from recognized university/college.
  • Minimum 3 years proven track record in relevant analytical laboratory testing activities.
  • Proficient in MS ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
  • Proficient & experience in handling chemical & microbiological related testing
  • Good personality, independent and a good team leader.
