We are seeking a Global LIMS DQM Master Data Analyst to join our global IT team supporting the Digital Laboratory Program. In this role, you will be responsible for the configuration, standardization, and governance of master data within SGS’s Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). You will play a key role in ensuring the successful setup and maintenance of global LIMS templates and test methods, working closely with technical teams, business process owners, and laboratory experts across regions.

This position requires a strong understanding of laboratory processes, LIMS architecture, and data governance principles. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of experience in LIMS environments, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across global teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain global LIMS templates and test methods in alignment with the Digital Laboratory Program strategy.
  • Define and enforce governance rules for LIMS master data, including test methods, regulatory limits, pricing, QC masks, and related data groups.
  • Drive standardization of LIMS master data and associated guidelines, ensuring alignment with business rules.
  • Collaborate with global and regional technical teams to support LIMS implementation and issue resolution.
  • Validate global master data structures through testing and ensure compliance with quality and process standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation related to global LIMS setup and configuration.
  • Work with business and GPO process owners to design new test methods and data structures as needed.
  • Support the resolution of LIMS-related issues in collaboration with the LIMS support team.

Qualifications

  • Technical high school diploma or higher education in Chemistry, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience working with LIMS systems.
  • Strong knowledge of LIMS processes and laboratory workflows.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required Skills

  • Deep understanding of end-to-end laboratory processes, from order intake to reporting and invoicing.
  • Knowledge of analytical testing procedures and laboratory instrumentation.
  • Strong grasp of laboratory quality control principles and testing report logic.
  • Proficiency in Excel Macros and tools like Copilot.
  • Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to break down complex issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with IT developers, lab experts, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a global, multicultural environment; familiarity with SGS culture is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
