Job Description

To provide a reliable and efficient transportation services with safety as a top priority, for staff of variety of samples, goods, to office, Laboratory, Port, (Minerals & AGRIcommodities) site operations and other company-related needs, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies.

Qualifications

Education

  • Grade 12 or equivalent in professional work experience,

Experience

  • 3 Years of experience of driving experience.
  • Valid Professional driving  license appropriate for the vehicle (CE)
  • Public services endorsed on the driving license (G) 
  • Ability to communicate effectively in english (verbal and written).
  • Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge is an advantage

Competencies.

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Extended hours and shift work are required.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent driving skills and safety awareness.
  • Punctual and reliable.

Additional Information

Responsabilities

  • Safely transport staff, visitors, and goods to designated locations.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the assigned vehicle.
  • Conduct routine checks on vehicle condition and report any issues promptly.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation (vehicle checklist, logbooks, fuel records, maintenance reports) is accurately completed.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Perform deliveries as and when required;
  • Prepare weekly vehicle checklist reports;
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel;
  • Carry  any other duties as instructed by management that may be deemed appropriate and within our capabilities.
