Job Description

SGS is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Administrator to join our team based in Perth. This role is key in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee data and payroll transactions across our systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working with HR and payroll platforms, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to confidentiality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities include, however, not limited to:

  • Enter new hires into Workday and Ascender systems.

  • Process employee job changes and terminations in Workday and Ascender.

  • Respond to payroll-related queries received through the shared inbox.

  • Extract and distribute employee payslips via Ascender ESS

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in administration and data entry or a similar role.

  • Proficient with payroll systems, preferably Ascender and/or Workday

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
