SGS is hiring an EHS Executive to support client-assigned projects through the implementation and enhancement of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Management Systems, in alignment with regulatory requirements and international best practices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong command of OSHAD, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 frameworks, with proven experience in ensuring compliance, promoting a culture of safety, and delivering effective EHS training. The EHS Executive will play a key role in rolling out health and safety policies and procedures across project sites, ensuring alignment with client expectations, national regulations, and global standards, ultimately contributing to the development of safe and compliant work environments.

Job Description

  • Deliver EHS support across client-assigned projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements, audits, timelines, and compliance standards.
  • Implement and maintain EHS Management Systems in accordance with internal policies, client expectations, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 45001, OSHAD).
  • Support inspection and audit preparedness, including site walkthroughs, documentation, and reporting of findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor site operations for regulatory compliance, environmental controls, and occupational health & safety performance.
  • Assist or lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and ensure follow-through on corrective actions.
  • Oversee external stakeholders / contractor EHS performance, ensuring adherence to site-specific and legal safety requirements.
  • Participate in emergency preparedness efforts, including training, planning, conducting drills and readiness assessments.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in implementing and managing Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Management Systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHAD, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or equivalent EHS frameworks.
  • Proven ability to ensure regulatory compliance, drive operational excellence, and support continuous improvement in EHS performance.
  • MS office suite working level proficiency (docx, pptx, xlxs etc)
  • Excellent team collaboration, attention to detail, and a high standard of professional integrity.
