Lead the Growth of Our Inspections Team!
We’re looking for a driven and experienced Business Manager to oversee the operations and commercial performance of our Inspections division — including NDT, Smart NDT, and OCTG services across Australia and PNG. Based in Brisbane, this full-time role will focus on ensuring profitability at each site, with a strong focus on sales and business development.
Your key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain a safety culture that minimises hazards and injuries.
- Manage operational rollouts to establish growth in line with business plan expatiations.
- Maintain and develop relationships with clients both locally and internationally.
- Manage and update dedicated sales tools, including CRM.
- Develop and monitor a plan for operational expansion.
- Manage daily operations to ensure work is completed to required standards.
- Create a culture of high performance and quality through motivation and leadership.
- Maintain effective communication with senior management and other key business units.
- Prepare tender responses, quotations, and service order agreements.
- In addition to other tasks typically expected in this role.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications and / or experience in Engineering and inspections.
- Strong commercial financial management experience.
- Strong sales and business development background.
- Experience and understanding of customer requirements.
- High level of computer literacy.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Availability to travel when required.
