    Job Description

    • Job Title: Administrator
    • Job Type: Permanent 
    • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
    • Job Location: Aberdeen - Office in Dyce 

    As an Administrator working within the Upstream Services Team 

    • To provide administrative support to managers, technical staff and other administrative staff at SGS Aberdeen:
    • Laboratory workflow/invoicing administration,
    • Competence & Training administration
    • Dealing with visitors and incoming telephone calls as and when required to provide good customer focus.
    • Assist in management of filing and archiving systems.
    • Prepare and progress purchase orders on the system.
    • Oversee and manage universal form and laboratory sample register invoicing.
    • Assist the finance department to ensure debtors days are reduced.
    • Respond to training enquiries and respond to delegates with joining instructions

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Essential

    • GCSEs at grade C or above in English and Maths.

    Desirable

    •  IT qualification or training

    Administration training

    Desirable

    • Experience of administrative tasks in an office environment
    • Experience within laboratory environment
