Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Specialist for Microbiological Testing and Technical Sales Specialist to join our innovative team in Makati, Philippines. In this dynamic role, you will combine your expertise in microbiology research with your ability to communicate complex technical information to clients, driving both product development and sales growth.

  • Conduct microbiological testing and research to develop new laboratory testing services and improve existing ones
  • Design and execute experiments, analyze data, and interpret results
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations on research findings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research into marketable products
  • Provide technical support to the sales team and directly to customers
  • Deliver product demonstrations and training to potential and existing clients
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the company's sales strategy
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in microbiological testing
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards and safety regulations
  • Participate in industry conferences and networking events to represent the company

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in microbiology research or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in a scientific or healthcare setting
  • Proficiency in microbiological testing techniques and laboratory equipment operation
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills
  • Excellent technical writing abilities
  • Proven sales and presentation skills
  • Experience with CRM software
  • In-depth knowledge of microbiology, product development, and quality control
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
