Job Description
This role operates within Global Group Information Technology (Group IT), working closely with the CIO, CIO-1, and Partners to ensure effective management of IT contracts.
You will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle management of IT contracts, driving continuous improvement in contract execution and helps to maximize the value of supplier relationships and IT investments.
The IT Contract Manager focuses on managing contract records, fostering supplier collaboration, and aligning contract execution with IT objectives, while working closely with Procurement, Contract Owners, and Service Managers.
Ensure the effective management transversal Group IT contracts with the objective to better leverage key partners in the realization of IT Strategy.
In addition, this role is responsible for License and Subscription cost centre management, ensuring accurate financial tracking, and alignment with business needs.
Responsibilities
- Proactive management of all IT contract terminations, closures, extensions or renewals.
- Drive and orchestrate Strategic Partner and Leverage Partner review and governance.
- Develop guidelines to ensure effective supplier management across Group IT.
- Determine overall supplier management strategy, embracing effective management.
- Aligns supplier contract execution and relationship management with IT Objectives and sourcing strategies.
- Evaluate suppliers' contract execution against contract sourcing selection criteria.
- Encourage co-innovation and service improvement with suppliers.
- Implement supplier management-related contract improvement initiatives and programmes.
- Effective communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders: Procurement, Contract Owners and Service Managers.
- Monitor, orchestrate and support license and subscription contract owners with contract terminations, closures, extensions and renewals.
- Define key performance indicators to monitor licenses and subscriptions contract lifecycle.
- Gathering and analysing contracts financial data to prepare budgets and forecasts.
- Assess actual licenses and subscriptions usage to avoid over-licensing or under-licensing.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science background or equivalent experience in large, complex, or multi-national companies
- Fluency in English is mandatory and Spanish would be advantage
- Experience managing IT contracts and implementing supplier management practices
- Experience managing financial contract aspects
- Experience with License and Subscription Management
- Experience with Financial & Cost Control
- Data & Analytics
- Experience working in the IT department with IT knowledge
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with all levels within Group IT and with other internal SGS partners as well as with partners
- Ability to negotiate
- Exceptionally collaborative, flexible, and adaptable when working with various teams
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills to manage complex process and technology issues
