Job Description

Job title: Electrical Calibration Engineer

  • Job Type: Permanent 
  • Hours: 38.5 per week
  • Job Location: Nottingham NG6 8UW
  • Travel: Required

Your New role

As a Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for calibrating, repairing and the issuing of certificates for instrumentation, meters and gauges at our Nottingham site in line with required standards (i.e. UKAS accreditation). You will be predominantly based in our 17025 Electrical Calibration Laboratory, however there will be the opportunity to further develop your skills within other areas, such as Dimensional, Temperature and Pressure.

You will follow documented procedures and work within agreed timescales to meet client deadlines and offer an excellent service. This role requires you to liaise with customers, providing an efficient and accurate response to all communications in order to maintain high customer service levels.

Qualifications

Previous experience in an engineering discipline would be desirable, however not essential. Full inhouse training will be provided to the successful candidate. You must have a full and valid driving license for use in the UK.

A good understanding of IT software (word, excel) would be desirable as the role requires regular use of computers. Full training will be provided where applicable.
