Job Description

SGS are seeking a fulltime Client Services Officer to join the team in our Malaga Office.

Responsibilities include however, not limited to:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for client communication, ensuring timely preparation and issuance of deliverable documents for inspections and testing conducted by NR Inspections Minerals Trade Department in Australia.
  • Organize and maintain up-to-date documentation in compliance with OI, SGS internal procedures, and client requirements.
  • Oversee frontloading, invoicing, and monthly financial reconciliation for the NR Inspections business.
  • Assist in internal and external audits for the Minerals Trade Department.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage worksheets and supporting documentation.
  • Issue deliverable documents in accordance with SGS global standards, procedures, and management instructions.
  • Utilize Oracle/BOSS systems for order confirmation and frontloading sales orders.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Billing team to ensure accurate invoicing, invoice distribution, and monthly financial reconciliation. Assist the Business Manager in preparing monthly forecasts.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring effective communication and coordination with customers and SGS branches.
  • Work with Coordinators and Commodity Managers to ensure all NR Inspections tasks that do not require field engagement are accurately recorded and reported. Coordinate closely with laboratory staff to ensure timely submission of samples and receipt of lab results.
  • Maintain and update documentation for Global H&S statistics, including training records, Take 5s, fatigue management, mileage logs, and other compliance-related documents.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Understanding of inspection purposes
  • Knowledge in Quality Systems.
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office suite and Oracle.
  • Ability to prepare written reports.
  • OHS&E awareness and understanding.
  • Good communication skills both verbally and written.
