Job Description

A Well Test supervisor, based in Moomba SA is required for supervising the rig up and operation of Surface Well Test equipment: including detailed reporting of surface and downhole conditions to the client and SGS management.

  • FIFO Position to Moomba, SA
  • Permanent Full-Time Position

Some other responsibilities for this role will be:

  • Supervising all personnel, equipment and services required to achieve the successful outcome of the operation as well as delegating these responsibilities as required.
  • Provide technical support to customer representatives where necessary
  • Interpret complex P&IDs relating to Well Test installations.
  • Implement and monitor pre-project and annual maintenance programs for field equipment.
  • Able to operate all equipment including the test separator correctly, confidently and independently.
  • Able to oversee full package test operations including slickline/wireline services. 
  • Be involved in the field crew assessment program.
  • Field training of SGS Well Test personnel. Ensure high levels of performance and maintain morale which forms part of the crew assessment program.
  • Review of production costs and savings, efficiency measures and report this information back to Management where possible.
  • Accurate reporting of surface and down-hole test data, ensuring that all data collected is relevant and accurate.
  • Coordinate operations in the field and advise the Well Services Coordinator of any changes in the work program or procedures. 

Qualifications

  • Oilfield well site services (minimum five years relevant experience) with strong multi-skill experience in slick line service or offshore/international slick line, testing and early productions systems.
  • Evidence of lower level supervisor experience.
  • Computer literacy and electronic product service experience.
  • Computer experience (word processing, spreadsheet software, dashboard or (fekete equivalent and email)
  • CV crane license
  • 4WD license
  • Senior First Aid Certificate
  • HR drivers license
  • Gas Detection training certificate
  • Wellsite Permit to Work Holder and Authority training
  • Breathing Apparatus training
