We are looking for an Engineer Surveyor to join our growing team in New Plymouth.
Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an Engineer Surveyor to join our high performing team and, inspection, and certification services to our customers in the Lower North Island.
You will be based in New Plymouth and have ideally have three years experience in in-service inspection of pressure vessels and piping and/or Cranes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspection of boilers and pressure vessels in accordance with NZ Regulations and Standards.
- Inspection of Cranes in accordance with NZ Regulations and Standards.
- Welding inspection in accordance with NZ Regulations and Standards.
- This will involve inspection at client sites across New Plymouth and the Taranaki region.
- Identify and assist in developing and securing new business opportunities.
- Provide training and mentoring to trainees when qualified to do so.
Qualifications
- Certification Board for Inspection Personnel (CBIP) Qualifications in a relevant discipline is preferred.
- Trainees with at least three years relevant background in engineering / pressure equipment / pipelines, Inspection will be considered.
- Three years' experience in inspection of boilers, pressure vessels and/or cranes.
- Establishes and maintains effective relationship with customers and gains their trust and respect.
- Strong time management skills with ability to manage your own diary and interact with clients.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A full and current New Zealand driver license.
