1.MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The main purpose of this position is to support decision-making by managers at various levels by generating and providing information on the financial execution of the sectors;and perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by direct line manager with strictly private and confidential behavior and full adherence to the local legislation and group policies and procedures.

2. KEY RESPONSABILITIES

  • Provide a comprehensive secretarial and administration service to the Financial and Administrative Manager.
  • Develop, maintain and review administration and financial systems to achieve maximum efficiency.
  • Maintain and organize the Administrative and accountant diary, filing system and all other relevant areas as necessary.
  • Review and classify the expenses incurred and carry out their accounting processing.
  • Safeguarding the need for the preparation of financial reports and archiving of documents.
  • Carry out the regular reconciliation of accounts, ensuring clear control of advances of funds for travel and other purposes authorized by the institution.
  • To responds to financial and Administrative and other stakeholder queries in a timely and professional manner, both orally and in writing.
  • Issue of Expense Claims.
  • Provide support in the control of the material of the operational sectors (acquisition and distribution).
  • Control of daily vehicle inspections including mileage and scheduled dates for vehicle legal inspection.
  • Control of keys and stamps in use in offices and the Bursar.
    Ensure the deposit of industrial waste in the authorized landfill.
  • Payment of Petty Cash with the authorization of the Branch Manager (Meticals and ZAR).
  • To maintain the complaints file and ensure all complaints are responded to within target timescales.

3. OPEARIONAL INTEGRITY

  • Investigate incidents and prepare relevant reports.

  • Ensure that all waste produced by SGS is disposed of in an environmentally sustainable manner.

Habilitações

4. QUALIFICATIONS

     4.1. Education

  • Degree in Administration, Accounting, Finance or Auditing or others related areas.
  • Accountant Certifications is advantage.                          

     4.2. Experience

  • At least 3 years work experience in similar position.

      4.3. Compentencies

  • Good Verbal & Written skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
