Operate in all Mozambique, since 1962, with 3 regional offices in Maputo, Beira and Nacala is looking for Minerals Supervisors based in Chibuto, Tete, Songo, Quelimane, Pebane, Moma, Angoche, Nacala e Pemba, and reporting to Minerals Operations Coordinators, under the below terms of reference.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Ensure monitoring of loading and unloading of cargo on ships, trucks, wagons, land tanks;
• Monitor during the cargo packing and unpacking process containerized;
• Ensure the collection of cargo samples for laboratory analyzes in accordance with instructions from the hierarchical superior;
• Check the technical condition of measuring instruments (scales and thermometers) before the process measurement;
• Measure coal temperatures before and during shipment taking into account the new IMO/IMSBC regulation;
• Register the type of cargo, quantity, cargo status, origin and destination, prepare reports of each of the operations carried out;
• Report anomalous situations to your superior;
• Ensure the collection of samples to carry out laboratory analyzes in accordance with standards from the SGS group;
• Ensure the execution of inspection orders in accordance with the instructions from superiors;
• Ensure the proper execution of inspections in accordance with the SGS protocol;
• Ensure that all quality, hygiene and safety standards are observed and respected in the work during operational activities;
• Respect all quality and safety requirements of the SGS management system.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the hierarchical superior.

Education and Competence:

• University Degree in Geology and Mining or other releted;
• Standard inspection procedures knowledges;
• Results orientation;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Ability to deal with new and unusual situations.
